The boxes with teaching studio furnishings are starting to arrive…my home studio is small and they are taking up a lot of room. But it won’t be long until they are all moved to the Gallery 3 space and we can start getting the classroom there set up. It’s going to be a bright and cheerful space featuring:

  • Ten 4′ tables and chairs for students
  • Additional folding chairs if needed
  • Two 6′ tables for instructors
  • Large TV for projecting live instructor demonstrations from a smartphone or tablet, or video or other instructional materials
  • Deep sink
  • Fridge, microwave, and complimentary coffee/tea/snacks
  • Restroom
  • Outside deck for warm weather sketching or other activities
  • Plenty of parking
  • Wheelchair access
  • Walking distance or very short drive to several restaurants

Our Sperryville location on Rt 211 is an easy drive from Culpeper, Luray, Front Royal and Warrenton. There is lots to do in Rappahannock County besides enjoying the art instruction offerings available at Gallery 3 starting February 1, 2020. Carol, this is wonderful news. I’ve had a bit of a hiatus from painting and am anxious to move forward again. I’ll be watching for your posts.
